Debutta Altus XT, la nuova Workstation Mobile targata NCS Technologies

NCS Technologies, produttore americano specializzato per lo più in sistemi destinati ad enti governativi, ha presentato la nuova Workstation Mobile Altus XT, ideata per la fascia enterprise e applicativi CAD, 3D o creazione di contenuti multimediali e grafici. Per questo notebook ad alte prestazioni l’azienda si è affidata a una piattaforma Intel Ivy Bridge (con CPU core i3/i5/i7) in accoppiata a schede grafiche Nvidia della serie GTX e Quadro.[....]

Come tutte le workstation di questo tipo, anche l’Altus XT può essere customizzato e integrare fino a 32 GB di memoria RAM DDR3, scheda video da 2 o 4 GB (rispettivamente GeForce GTx 675M o Quadro K3000M) e configurazione Multi-Disco con SSD e supporto RAID. Tra le altre features del prodotto segnaliamo il display LED Full-HD da 17″, masterizzatore o lettore blu-ray, tastiera a 103 tasti, supporto USB 3.0, HDMI, Display Port e batteria a 8 celle. Il sistema è certificato Windows 8 e ottimizzato anche per Windows 7. Non ci sono informazioni sul prezzo, è evidente però che siamo di fronte a un desktop-replacement che non sarà accessibile a tutte le tasche.
